Popeye is a TV star who owns and instructs at a gym (a la Vic Tanny). He tries to get Olive and Wimpy into shape, but he runs into trouble with his neighbor downstairs, Brutus. The setup includes a TV commercial with Olive, Wimpy and later Brutus as clients. Resulting gags and inevitable battle between Brutus and Popeye over Olive.
